We live in the middle of nowhere, with maybe 3 neighbors. At the end of our road, there’s an abandoned house at the end of the road. Out of curiosity, we looked around on the property and found what looked like a handmade bowl. It had an antique feel, which I love.
At first, we used it for décor. I felt a little uneasy with it but didn’t think too much about it. There were a couple of bumps in the night that, looking back on it, seems related now. We would hear something “fall”. We had no pets at the time, and I am very…particular…. On where I place things. Additionally, we couldn’t find anything that would be out of place on searching.
One night we discussed using the bowl as a casserole dish, as that was the look of it. We went to bed afterward. About midnight we heard a faint whisper. I turned over and tried to go back to sleep when I felt something grab my legs and hold me down. I didn’t say anything, I thought I was dreaming. The next night the whispers returned, then a sudden exclamation occurred, “NO!” It was a very audible male yell. I was panicked. My significant other, who has no interest in the paranormal, had very much heard it as well. That is when I knew it wasn’t just a dream.
We put salt in the bowl and returned it to the property. I hope whatever is attached to it has found peace.
